Alignment/Service Related
CT-88 The CT-88 cable is used in conjunction with the FIF-8 box to make adjustments to the alignment. This is for the VX-4000/VX-5500/VX-6000 mobiles. The CT-88 connects from the DB25 accessory port of the mobile, to the FIF-8 box interfaced to your PC.
FIF-8 Firmware Writer. Unit comes with a cable for the multi-pin radios (VX-900, VX-4000, etc.). Please order the CT-92 cable for firmware updating of modular connector radios (VX-3200, VX-4200, VXR-9000, etc.). Powered by a PA-23B (not supplied).
Base Stations
BSC-5000 Base Station Console. This is a "build to suit" type base station. It uses any band of VX-4000, VX-5500 or VX-6000 mobile. So, if you need mid power, high power, UHF or Lowband, we have you covered.
Features of the BSC-5000:
- Front mounted speaker - The large front mounted speaker makes for clear and loud audio as needed.
- Date / Time indicator - There is a built in Date / Time clock on the front display. 12 or 24-hour format is available.
- DC Backup - The BSC-5000 has rear connections for a DC backup input. In case you lose primary power, the DC backup battery input will take over.
Built in power supply - The BSC-5000 fully contains a 30 Amp DC power supply capable of delivering enough power to run even the 120 W Lowband VX-6000.
There is an optional unique desk microphone available as well, MD-11B8J.
Control Head

CNT-6000 Control Head for multi-head configurations. Requires T9206958A for dual head remotes.

MMB-88 This is a mounting bracket, which is a base plate for the CNT-5000 and MLS-200.
The MMB-88 mounts to a motorcycle. The CNT-5000 and MLS-200 then mount to the MMB-88, side by side.
